Design Considerations
- Some coatings do not work with deep holes, blind holes, deep pockets, and delicate external features.
- Some coatings like anodize are not very color accurate and can have slight variations in color.
- Some coatings like powder coat are not suitable for parts with tight tolerances.
- Some surface finishing techniques will round part edges.
- Not all materials can be coated or finished.
